In 2020, I came to SOT with great expectancy in my heart. I totally enjoyed every session and every moment I had in school. Shortly after the school term started, SOT had to move our lessons online due to COVID-19. I was downcast and a little disappointed. I had doubts and questions about my decision to come to SOT that year. But I remembered the word of God given to me, that God wanted me to come to Bible school to be trained. So I prayed and read the Bible, seeking God for a direction for my ministry. Then God told me that He wanted me to preach online.
That year, I also signed up for a workshop conducted by CityRadio. I have learnt that the tools were simple and no sophisticated microphone or studio was required. All I needed was just my mobile phone and a laptop. Since God has given me a vision to preach online, I started to think of a name for my YouTube channel. I started writing scripts and recording my sermons as well. After graduating from SOT, I went back to India and applied what I learnt.
I believe God has brought me to SOT in 2020 for a reason. With all the classes and curriculums shifted online, I now see how this actually benefits my community and my ministry. Today, I have two Hindi Christian Channels on YouTube with about 13,000 subscribers. Some of the subscribers have written to say that they were very encouraged in the faith after watching my video.
