City Harvest School of Theology is a full-time Bible college that was founded in 1994 with the purpose of bringing its students into a deeper relationship with God, and empowering them with scriptural knowledge and practical skills required for effective and anointed ministry—within and beyond the local church. SOT also trains potential pastors and missionaries to establish strong local churches in their own cities and nations.
This purpose is specifically spelled out in the Mission Statement of City Harvest Church: “To build a church with a strong spiritual atmosphere of faith and purity, where every member is released into ministry, discipled in the Great Commandment, to obey the Great Commission and the Cultural Mandate.”
To date, more than 8,100 students from 41 different nations have graduated from SOT. Our graduates are welcomed into our alumni family and with the City Harvest DNA, they play a vital role in establishing and furthering the kingdom of God wherever they are planted.
With our Alumni portal, we seek to accomplish four pivotal goals: Connection, Communication, Community and Cause.
Our SOT Alumni family is always connected to CHC and benefits from a range of resources. 2-way communication enables ongoing discipleship between our pastors and our alumni; and allows for support and encouragement in this journey of faith and ministry. Communication cascades down to our graduates and form a community, providing our alumni a strong family that they can identify with and belong to. Together, we serve a higher cause of spreading the gospel and making disciples of all nations.
