BREAKDOWN OF COURSES
An introductory study of the books of the Old Testament with a focus on purpose, major themes, selected characters and events, and the theological contribution of each book informed by historical, social and cultural contexts. There will be an emphasis on understanding the hermeneutical principles to interpret the biblical text with an eye to inspire the student to integrate the lessons of Scripture into their own lives and ministry.

Do you have questions about God that you have been unable to answer? Do you sometimes wonder whether Christian beliefs about concepts such as the Trinity make any sense? This course offers you the opportunity to explore those beliefs that are foundational to Christianity. It argues that our theology, or what we believe about God, has a practical impact on our lives and provides an overview of our Christian faith. One of the focal topics of this course will be the Trinity.

It covers theological distinctives, praxis, leadership, evangelism, church growth, and community engagement from a Pentecostal perspective. Students will have the opportunity to creatively engage with these topics to connect them with their own contexts.
